Sales Executive – Agriculture & Sustainable Packaging Solutions
Role Overview
We are looking for a field-oriented Sales Executive to develop business opportunities within agriculture, mushroom farming, horticulture, and allied sectors. The candidate will be responsible for customer acquisition, relationship management, market development, and promotion of sustainable packaging solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Business Development
- Identify and develop business opportunities within mushroom farming, horticulture, greenhouse, nursery, and protected cultivation segments.
- Conduct regular field visits to farms, nurseries, growers, distributors, and agricultural institutions.
- Generate leads and convert prospects into long-term customers.
- Build relationships with farmers, FPOs, agri-input dealers, distributors, cooperatives, and industry stakeholders.
- Understand customer requirements related to packaging, storage, transportation, and produce handling.
- Conduct product demonstrations and educate customers on sustainable packaging solutions.
Market Development & Coordination
- Promote eco-friendly packaging products for agricultural produce handling and transportation.
- Gather market intelligence on competitor products, pricing trends, customer preferences, and industry developments.
- Coordinate with internal teams for product samples, quotations, and customized offerings.
- Participate in agriculture exhibitions, farmer meetings, horticulture events, and industry forums.
- Support customers throughout the sales cycle and ensure long-term relationship management.
- Achieve assigned revenue and business growth targets.
Required Skills & Experience
- 3–5 years of experience in Sales, Business Development, or Field Sales.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and customer relationship skills.
- Willingness to travel extensively for business development activities.
- Ability to understand customer requirements and recommend appropriate solutions.
