Retail Expansion & Offline Growth Manager
Role Overview
As a Retail Expansion & Offline Growth Manager, you will be responsible for identifying, onboarding, and scaling company's presence across modern retail, beauty chains, electronics retailers, premium lifestyle stores, and other high-potential offline channels.
You will own the entire journey—from identifying opportunities and pitching retail partners to driving visibility, sell-through, and long-term growth within stores.
Key Responsibilities
Retail Expansion
- Identify and prioritize new retail channels and strategic accounts.
- Build relationships with key decision-makers across organized retail.
- Lead discussions, negotiations, and onboarding with retail partners.
- Drive expansion into channels such as:
- Electronics retailers
- Beauty retail chains
- Department stores
- Modern trade formats
- Airport retail
- Premium lifestyle stores
- Regional retail chains
Account Management
- Own relationships with key retail partners.
- Monitor business performance across stores and channels.
- Drive joint business planning initiatives.
- Ensure smooth execution of launches, replenishment, promotions, and visibility programs.
Offline Growth & Marketing
- Develop innovative in-store growth initiatives.
- Plan and execute retail marketing campaigns.
- Improve discoverability and conversion through effective visibility programs.
- Collaborate with brand and growth teams to bring Winston's digital-first strengths into offline retail.
Examples include:
- Product demo programs
- Retail-exclusive launches
- Shop-in-shop concepts
- End-cap activations
- In-store education campaigns
- Cross-promotional partnerships
Execution Excellence
- Coordinate with supply chain, operations, finance, and marketing teams.
- Ensure strong inventory availability and retail execution.
- Track sell-through and retail productivity metrics.
- Proactively resolve operational bottlenecks.
New Business Development
- Continuously identify emerging retail opportunities.
- Build a roadmap for Winston's offline growth.
- Evaluate channel economics and profitability.
- Recommend investments that maximize retail impact and long-term growth.
Requirements
Must Have
- 3–5 years of experience in Retail Expansion, Modern Trade, Key Account Management, Channel Sales, Business Development, or related functions.
- Experience working with consumer brands, D2C brands, beauty, personal care, electronics, lifestyle, or FMCG categories.
- Strong commercial negotiation and relationship management skills.
- Ability to independently build and manage retail partnerships.
- Excellent project management and execution capabilities.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment.
Good to Have
- Existing relationships with buyers across organized retail chains.
- Experience launching new brands or categories into offline retail.
- Experience in beauty-tech, grooming, personal care, electronics, or consumer durables.
- Understanding of retail merchandising and shopper marketing.
