Job Description:Production Manager

Production

● Own daily production planning and execution.

● Deliver production targets while maintaining quality standards.

● Optimize manpower, equipment and line efficiency.

● Monitor production KPIs including yield, productivity and wastage.

Factory Operations

● Manage all shop-floor operations.

● Ensure adherence to SOPs and food safety standards.

● Coordinate production, quality, maintenance and warehouse functions.

● Drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Capacity Expansion & Scale-Up

● Design and implement systems to scale manufacturing output.

● Improve line balancing and workflow efficiency.

● Lead commissioning of new equipment and production lines.

● Drive automation opportunities where relevant.

Inventory & Material Management

● Coordinate production planning with procurement and inventory teams.

● Monitor raw material consumption and variances.

● Minimize production losses and wastage.

Team Leadership

● Lead and train production supervisors and operators.

● Build performance-driven manufacturing culture.

● Drive discipline, safety and accountability across the factory.

Maintenance & Utilities

● Coordinate preventive maintenance programs.

● Ensure smooth functioning of production equipment.

● Monitor utilities including power, refrigeration and cold-chain systems.

Desired Candidate Profile

Must Have

● 7–10 years of factory operations experience.

● Strong experience in frozen foods, frozen snacks or ready-to-cook products.

● Experience in scale up/ 0 to 1 experience

● Exposure to blast freezing, frozen storage and cold-chain processes.

● Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles.

● Achievement of daily and monthly production targets.

● Improvement in line productivity and yields.

● Reduction in wastage and downtime.

● Successful scale-up of manufacturing capacity.

● Strong compliance with quality and food safety standards.
