Job Description: Quality Manager
Quality & Food Safety
● Own end-to-end Quality Management Systems across the factory.
● Implement and maintain HACCP, GMP, GHP and food safety protocols.
● Lead internal quality audits and coordinate external audits.
● Ensure compliance with FSSAI and customer requirements.
● Manage raw material, packaging material, in-process and finished goods quality checks.
● Establish product specifications and quality standards.
Manufacturing Quality Control
● Monitor critical control points across production.
● Drive reduction in product defects, rejections and customer complaints.
● Develop SOPs and quality checklists for all production processes.
● Ensure batch-wise traceability and documentation.
Supplier & Vendor Quality
● Qualify and audit ingredient and packaging suppliers.
● Define incoming material quality standards.
● Investigate and resolve supplier-related quality issues.
Product Development & Scale-Up
● Support new product development and commercialization.
● Establish quality parameters for new products.
● Conduct shelf-life studies and validation trials.
● Work with founders to improve formulations, yields and consistency.
Compliance & Documentation
● Maintain quality records and documentation.
● Handle regulatory inspections and customer audits.
● Coordinate product testing through external laboratories.
● Manage CAPA (Corrective and Preventive Actions).
Desired Candidate Profile
Must Have
● 5-7 years of experience in Quality Assurance / Food Safety.
● Experience in frozen foods, veg frozen snacks is mandatory
● Strong understanding of HACCP, GMP and food safety systems.
● Experience managing factory quality operations independently.
● Hands-on approach and willingness to work on the shop floor.
Preferred
● Experience with paneer, tofu, vegetarian protein products
● Exposure to NPD and product commercialization.
● Knowledge of microbiological testing, shelf-life studies and frozen food processing.

● Consistent product quality across batches.
● Successful launch and scale-up of new products.
● Zero major food safety non-conformities.
